On the eve of 4th International day of Yoga celebrations, our college students have attempted for a Golden book of record by performing Sutranethi Kriya. 368 students have performed Sutranethi together at Amritha varshini sabhabhavan in the presence dignitaties; Dharmadhikari Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Sri C S Puttaraju, Hon’ble Minister for Minor Irrigation, GOK, Sri Abhayachandra Jain, Ex. Minister, Govt. of Karnataka, Sri. Harish Poonja, MLA Belthangady, Govt. of Karnataka, Sri D Cathigueane, Regional Director, NSS Karnataka, Dr. B. Vasanth Shetty, NSS Program Co-ordinator, RGUHS Bengaluru, Karnataka. Sutranethi Kriya, a form of Yogic cleansing technique, took about 5 minutes wherein a rubber string is inserted into the nose and then pulled out from the mouth. The performance was filmed and will be sent to Golden Book of Record in California.
